Moving off iTunes feels scary because it’s where your playlists live. The trick is to
do it in a reversible way: back up first, then move everything in one run.
What actually happens
- Your playlists are rebuilt as Serato crates.
- Every track moves into folders on your computer, with paths updated.
- iTunes gets switched off inside Serato so it stays out of your way.
Your original library isn’t deleted - so if you change your mind, you can revert.
